You will have access to advice by telephone and email at all reasonable times. We aim to respond within 48 hours, but usually respond on the same day the enquiry comes in.
Telephone advice will always be backed up in writing.
Our LPA service includes a safety audit visit at the outset of the contract, to cover the equipment and the environment that the laser is to be used in.
The Laser Protection Adviser the service we offer would provide:
Calculations to ascertain the need for screens / blinds;
A set of Local Rules to cover the safe use of the equipment;
A Risk Assessment for the use of the equipment;
Advice about the provision of personal protective equipment;
Advice about the provision of adequate warning sign(s);
Access to telephone and email support (this includes ongoing support for the resolution of minor issues and problems).
The cost of the service depends on your location relative to me as visits adds a significant cost element to the contract due to the time and distance involved in making the actual visit. However we will always look at the most cost effective way of providing you a service so you have nothing to lose by asking us to prepare a no obligation quote for your practice.
